Florian Birkmayer MD

Essential Oils for Ecodelic Transformation, Combining Essential Oils with Psychedelic Therapy

Delve into the power of Essential Oils for personal growth, transformation and raising eco-delic consciousness. Birkmayer will explore the power of Essential Oils for shadow work,  disrupting the Default Mode Network, and to enhance psychedelic therapy. In addition, knowledge will be shared on how Essential Oils work on the psyche: neuroanatomy, structural similarities to psychedelics, Default Mode Network, and entourage effect.

Through Birkmayer’s commitment to his own Wounded Healer’s journey, he shares with clients and students a deep understanding of what it is to be human and find your own personal myth or soul’s purpose.

After a career in mainstream academic psychiatry and addiction treatment, Birkmayer became frustrated by the overemphasis on pharmaceuticals to cover up symptoms and decided to use his knowledge and experience to help people recover from pharmaceutical medications.

Receiving a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at Princeton University, Birkmayer learned to question assumptions and discover the hidden gifts of the unseen side of life, the shadow. Birkmayer then received a medical doctorate from Columbia University, which taught him how to think critically about ‘business-as-usual’ medicine and inspired me to become an addiction psychiatrist.
